Alexander’s Landscaping & Lawncare was started in November of 2001. It was a long-time idea that I had wanted to fulfill after spending almost 10 years in the military. As a teenager I worked during the summers for a small landscaping firm in Columbia, Maryland. I mowed, edged, built retaining walls and performed various other landscape tasks to earn money for college, but at the same time I developed a love for landscaping and working with customers.
Since that experience and after college, I have had a desire to run my own small company and provide excellent landscaping service to the community in which I live. So far so good. We have been in business for five years and have had very good success. Though I was forced to take a break during 2004 and 2005, due to deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, the company continued to provide excellent service to customers in my absence.
This past year, we redoubled our efforts and had very good success during the 2006 landscaping season. We enjoy working to improve the value and appearance of the homes that our residential clients live in. We also take great pride in giving our commercial clients a neat and professional environment which they can share with their employees and customers.
